Returning Your Ballot
If you have a mail-in or absentee ballot, it must be received by 8:00 PM on Monday, March 2. You have two options:
By Mail
Mail your completed ballot so it arrives by 8:00 PM on Election Day.
Ballot Drop Box
Drop your ballot at the secure drop box located across from the Town Office Building at 1625 Massachusetts Ave. Available until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 2.
Are You Eligible?
You can vote if you:
- Are a U.S. citizen
- Are 18 or older on or before Monday, March 2, 2026
- Are a registered voter in Lexington, Massachusetts
What to Bring
Massachusetts does not require ID if you're a registered voter. You may be asked to show ID if you're a first-time voter, recently moved, or have an inactive status.
- Photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.)
- Or a utility bill, bank statement, or government document with your name and address
